Over the past week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued several updates:
- Those participating in the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), need to start data collection by October 2nd in order to cover a consecutive 90-day period
- Addendums to the electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) annual update specifications for eligible clinician, professional, and hospital quality reporting programs
